Fr. Timothy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Oregon and a Nationally Certified Counselor. He is a Greek Orthodox priest ordained since 1995 and has served parishes since that time in addition to his counseling. Fr. Timothy is a graduate of Wright State University (B.A. Psychology), Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (M.Div. Theology), Loyola University -Maryland (M.S. Pastoral Counseling) and has completed a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. He provides counseling to individual, couples and families addressing concerns such as relationship dynamics, parenting, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, communication skills, as well as life & work transition issues. In addition, he offers pre-marital counseling utilizing the Prepare/Enrich program.

"My goal is to help individuals grow through the challenges set before them, using the struggles they face as steppingstone opportunities to heal and live more authentically." Fr. Timothy specializes in providing treatment from a Family Systems perspective where he works collaboratively with people to explore one's family of origin and how their early developmental years of interpersonal relationships, attachment histories and life experiences have shaped them and their perspective of self and others. "Much of our anxiety in life stems from the fact that we would like to have people and things around us change so that we can feel happy or be more at peace. The reality is that our stress and anxiety will only begin to diminish when we direct our efforts inward, and begin to focus on what we can change, which is the way we see and understand our self and our self in relation with others.
